A woman from North Carolina has stumbled upon one of the rarest video games in the world at her local Goodwill store and purchased it for $7.99. It turns out that the game is a highly desirable collectible and could sell at auction for a minimum of $15,000!

Beercade: ‘The Last Barfighter’ Arcade Game Rewards Winners With Beer

This has got to be the greatest arcade game of all time. Created by McKinney Creative Agency the Beercade rewards winners of ‘The Last Barfighter’, a Street Fighter II doppelganger with beer.

Two players place cups beneath the game, battle each other in a virtual bar fight with five characters, and the winner after five rounds has his or her cup filled with frothing ale. Sweet!

According to Tristrambros ‘he proposed the students to build computers out of cardboard, not knowing at all where this will lead to’. I could take a guess…cardboard computers?

Missile Command: Victor Sandberg Breaks 31-Year-Old Arcade Record With 81 Million Points

You’ll remember back in 2010 we became Guinness World Record holders for the longest FPS video game marathon. Well, last month Victor Sandberg broke a record of his own that has been standing for 31 years for the highest score in Atari’s classic arcade game Missile Command.

He spent 56 solid hours racking up a score of 81,796,035 points and broadcast the compulsive coverage live. Not doubt you can get hold of the video somewhere if you ever suffer from amnesia.
